KangaRoos Coil R1 Gorp 47306 0060 Steel Grey

The Coil R1 is certainly one of the most popular models in our assortment. This is evidenced not least by the various Special Editions that have been created in recent years in collaboration with our collaboration partners worldwide.

One reason for this is the multi-layered design of the upper, which offers great design options for colors and materials. We have equipped the side panel with tear-resistant ripstop material. It is complemented by breathable mesh on the toebox, and overlays made of fine, short-pile suede sit on this base. A beautiful accent is set by the small, stylized flowers, which are stitched on the outside of the mudguard. We only used smooth leather for the side overlay, which is emblazoned with our trademark.

We have added a few style features to this variant of the Coil R1. First, the shoe has a removable strap on the heel, which can be used as a pull tab, so as a kind of donning aid. Secondly, there is a removable "pocket" on the lacing, which in this case is not quite so "secret".

In the heel area, directly above the midsole, there is an EVA stabilizer that extends around the entire heel and provides excellent stability. The DYNACOIL cushioning system in the midsole, the proven Ortholite insole, as well as the inner lining made of breathable mesh make wearing the Coil R1 Gorp super-comfy. The outsole of this shoe is also made of abrasion-resistant rubber, which provides a good grip and pleasant durability.

The second reason for the popularity of the Coil R1 is certainly its shape. The wedge-shaped forward running forefoot area is razor sharp, an absolute feast for the eyes and makes the heart of every sneakerhead beat faster.
