We are proud to present the GAME LO, a model that we bring back
for the first time since the 1980s. This shoe is the low-cut version of
one of the oldest and most prestigious models in our archive,
the SLAM DUNK I, that already debuted in 1981. Back then,
THE SLAM DUNK I was advertised as “the basketball shoe of championship caliber”. In good tradition of basketball performance shoes from that era, the upper of the GAME LO is completely made of leather. The base of the upper, as well as the coloured overlays are of a high quality napa leather which takes its name from Napa, California, where the process of making napa leather was created by Emanuel Manasse, a German tanner working for The Sawyer Tanning Company. In addition to those parts, a small soft suede leather overlay is placed on the lower part of the heel to set a littlecontrast. We branded the shoe on the side panel with our company’s logo,
on the heel tab where we placed our striking ROOS lettering, and on the woven tongue label. We provided the toe box with a perforation for a good ventilation of the foot. For a comfortable fit, we gave the
GAME LO a mesh lining and an comfy insole. The outsole is
equipped with abrasion-resistant rubber which ensures good grip
and a pleasant durability.
